The heart of LRC
Leah DeKalb is a Level 1 USA Triathlon Certified and Training Peaks Accredited Coach, with a Master’s in Business Management and going on thirteen years of experience in the endurance racing world. 2026 marks nine triathlon and four road running seasons across the country for Coach Leah. Coming from a diverse athletic background that includes soccer, varsity track and field, competitive horse showing, baseball, and volleyball, Leah has always led an active lifestyle.
Today, she spends her time immersed in the limitless world of triathlon - training, racing, coaching, creating content, and more. When she's not "TRI-ing," Leah enjoys taking her dog Woodford for lots of walkies, traveling or adventuring with her husband Jeff, or discovering a new wine! Drawn to triathlon as a way to challenge herself, expand her community, and stay active in competitive sports, Leah continues to inspire and support others on their triathlon journey.
Before Leah toed the line at her first triathlon in 2018, and even after racing for a couple of years, she battled numerous mental barriers and constructs. Thoughts like, “I could never do a triathlon” or “I can’t swim, who am I kidding!” swirled through her inner dialogue. Through her experiences challenging her own mindset, Leah learned that the sport of triathlon has the power to strengthen not only our athletic ability but also our mental endurance and personal character. From her first adult swim, where she couldn’t make it 25 meters without stopping, to completing her first full Ironman in Lake Placid, crossing the finish line at the 70.3 World Championships, qualifying for Team USA, and continuously ranking as an Ironman All World Athlete, Leah's journey has been life-changing. This journey inspired her to start her own multisport coaching business, Limitless Racing & Coaching (LRC). LRC was born out of her passion and drive to give others the same opportunity to develop both mental and athletic fortitude through the sport of triathlon.
LRC takes pride in serving Age Group athletes by transforming their limits into limitless possibilities, one day at a time. Coach Leah works diligently with her athletes, ensuring they receive the time, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence they deserve. With experience being coached by various styles of endurance coaches, self-coaching, and coaching fellow age-groupers, Coach Leah believes LRC combines the best qualities every Age Group athlete seeks in an endurance coach. LRC is more than just an endurance coaching service - it's a movement that shouts, "Anything is possible," and has a heck of a lot of fun doing it!
